Misunderstanding about China by Western leaders

Many world leaders, especially those in Europe, have astonishingly poor understanding about China.

We will look briefly at two key misunderstandings.

1. Many fail to realise that CCP is a mortal threat to all free societies, not just a domestic bully who abuse human rights of minorities.

This misunderstanding is astonishing because CCP aggression is now frequently felt on all continents in the world. It is clear from events in Hong Kong and elsewhere that the mere existence of any free society serves to remind people of an alternative model of government, and of the illegitimacy of the CCP. Thus the CCP will not feel safe until all free societies are eliminated.

Failure to see and deal with CCP threat when it is more controllable could mean a much bigger problem in future when a much higher price may have to be paid.

2. Many do not differentiate the CCP from China or Chinese people.

The CCP does not represent the Chinese people, as the latter never elected the Party. On the contrary, the #CCP routinely oppresses the Chinese people. The well publicised plight of the Uighurs represents the tip of the iceberg of this oppression.
