CCP threat to Western industries — deadly serious!

When Western societies debate about CCP threat, the first things discussed are often national security and espionage. This is certainly true during the debates about banning Huawei from the UK’s 5G network in early 2020. Gradually, we come to realise that the threat is very different and far more serious.

In an earlier article (Note 3) in this series, we looked at how #CCP came to dominate key industries and pushed western companies which were initially world leaders to the brink. Examples abound: 5G, High speed rail, PV and UAS/drones, not to mention public health PPEs and lower-tech manufacturing sectors.

The CCP have perfected it’s steps for industrial mercantilism: a.) forced technology transfer through joint ventures, b.) creating domestic replica companies, which then c.) massively undercutting the competitors [1].

A further basket of market manipulation measures will take care of any remaining survivors. These measures include market access denial, state export guarantee, deal finance, etc. [1], topped by a corrupt legal system that dashes any reasonable hopes for recourse.

The CCP is not a conventional competitor. It aims to replace the Western companies which originally developed advanced technologies in various sectors. When CCP says “win, win”, it means that the Party…
